I was disappointed to hear about your orchid trip getting rained out.

Too bad you couldn't have joined us on Sunday for our annual trek into the forest to see the moccasin orchid. We were a little early, and only a few were in bloom, but it was a wonderful day.

hey, thanks Marie! How wonderful, I'm glad your search was successful. Those same orchids grow at Lac LaRonge, I saw them when camping there a few years ago in early June.

Thanks for posting these photos :) I did take a few of the forest/fog/rain at Cypress Hills but still haven't downloaded those photos - you'd think with all the rain I'd have all my inside work and tasks done ... lol, NOT.
