Have you had the dark purple and white irises ( the ones on the far left) for very long? They look like mine, which I'm guessing were planted long long ago by the previous owner. Do you know what they're called?

Will that Primula survive the winter? When we lived in Zone 7 they bloomed in February. They don't really survive here do they??

The purple and white irises are called "Rhein Nixe". And that primula is in its second or third year. They do survive here (obviously! LOL). I have a couple of others that were Safeway flowers in the winter and they have overwintered as well.

I don't really have too much that's in bloom yet. It's been too cold and wet. Plus I don't think my poor computer can handle doing the pictures. A landscape company implied my yard looks pretty bad. Hmmmm. Maybe they've only ever seen the yards of those of us who can afford, or want, to pay them, hee, hee! I've seen much much worse than mine!

I had the computer problem like that for the past few years, but have now upgraded. It sure is a treat!

Sorry about the cold and wet. :( We're up and down - summer one day, spring another, and then it's fall. Today, it's fall. 12° and damp.
