bees are averse to cool/wet weather,
but a little warmth should have them out and about
place any potted flowers near your blueberries as an added attractant

The little bit of reading I've done has mentioned that other insects are pollinators as well, but they didn't mention specifics as to which bugs do what.

I've seen a few bees around, but not very many!

The bees just became active at my place south of Calgary. I was worried too as my apple trees were all in bloom, and I have a guy who keeps hives on our property. Very slow spring here, but my 30 year old rescue crab is buzzing today. C

Hey, I drove through there a few years ago..pretty area. I poked around in a saddle shop on the side of the road. I went to school at Olds College, and my then-boyfriend(now husband) and I liked to go for drives. :)
