I'm wanting to buy some flowering, smaller trees for my enormous yard. I've seen both Thunderchild and Royalty at a nursery I like shopping at, and they seem very similar.

Does anyone know which is "better"? Do they both hold onto their fruit through winter?

Also, does anyone have other ornamental crabapples that they love? Which ones, and why?
