No You should not prune this year.
Next Spring,when you know what is alive and what is dead,then you can leave only three trunks and cut the rest off.

You could air-layer the large two branches on the bottem of the tree that are growing sideways. then you could remove those air layered branches in the spring of next year, by then they should have develpoed nice roots. Then you will have three fig trees instead of one!

Air layering the bottom two branches is really simple. I did it on one of mine and it developed roots right away. It has enough roots to cut now though I am waiting until the fall to cut it loose because of the heat. When you cut them loose later you can either keep them and have a couple more trees or give them to a friend.
