it's normal, but they should look more like a spade. if they are irregular as in crinkled & blotchy it could be FMV but I think you're fine. think of it as the first 2 leaves to pop out of a tomato seed they look alot different then what we call it's true leaves. BT has a leaf structure consisting of 5 blunt lobes and 3 lobed leaves as oddballs.many trees have 2 different leaf structures on the same tree. the 1 lobe leaf like you're describing is it's immature 3 lobe leaf, as it ages they will turn into more of a club shaped leaf with 3 blunt lobes. here is picture of a different 5 lobed leaf structure tree and a 3 lobed leaf from the same tree. good luck with your fig tree and I hope you get some figs from it. june is offley late in the season to finally bring your tree out, but I guess you gotta do what you got to do if your growing figs up north.

Tree has been outdoors since April. The leaves in question have NO lobes at all...just sort of solid triangle shape. It looks very healthy otherwise. Unable to post photo

I have 4 different varieties baby fig trees that some of them have the triangle shape leaves. One of the trees is Archipel, it has the triangle shape leaves and 1 small leaf that has 7 lobes which I have always longed for.
