You positively have a male caprifig,and it will never ripe fruits properly.
Your climate is proper for maturing figs properly,so,it is what it is.
Get rid of it.

If you have a scientific interest you can read the above post on ``how to start a new hybrid of fig tree`` written by herman2. Since you have a male caprifig as herman2 said, you can get 2 female figs tree to try crossing your male caprifig!
