I can't remember where my first delphs were from, but I did get some seeds from someone in a trade, and these are a lovely pale blue. I can save seeds if you like. Right now they're being attacked by some big black beetles. When I find them, they're making a trip to the "gas-spa". :>

I've bought seeds and plants from various sources, and all I can say is unless you buy a plant in bloom, any and all colour labeling will mean no more than "a tendency towards" a particular colour.

Well, a friend of mine has a greenhouse but she closes at the end of June like most here. Last week she asked me for garlic scapes, we grow lots of garlic for the market, and she asked if I would take some plants off her hands in trade for the scapes. I had completely forgotten until we got home tonite and found 2 flats of zinnias, 6 heuchera and 9 delphiniums! All I had asked for were flowers for cutting, never even thought of delphiniums. If you're looking for Larkspur you can try getting seeds from floribunda seeds.
