Well....they're kind of slow! I'm not really sure how big the leaves are supposed to get before they start producing buds, but they really seem to be taking their time in adjusting to the garden. My Black Jack glads seem to just be sitting there, but my fringed coral lace is growing pretty good. A bunch of my plum tart bouquet glads got all streaky, and I threw them out. I though they might have thrips or something.

The question is definitely whether I decide to keep them for next year. I'll have to see how impressive their blooms are. If they aren't that great, I might not bother, because I have tons of other plants that could take their spot in the garden!! Though I have some vague notions of planting some flowers just for cutting in my vegetable garden in the next year or two...so maybe I could plop them down there.

I'm not surprised your glads aren't doing well. The weather has been just too brutal.

If you're the kind of person who keeps things over the winter, then I think you'd be happy to give them another chance next year.

Yeah, I think I will keep them..on the one hand, I hardly gave room for them, but on the other hand, I paid for them, they have pretty flowers, and I'm the type of person that has trouble throwing plants out.
