It takes 80 days to ripe from when you notice them till they are ripe ,if they are main crop.
That will put you ,with ripe fruits ,at aBOUT sEPTEMBER 1,WITH RIPE FRUITS.
Of course if you had Breba fruits in the Spring those will have been ripe now,but I am sure they did not form this year,so your tree has only main crop.

Thanks, Herman2. From the looks of the figs, it will be another month until they're ripe. Sigh. Waiting is the hardest part. Every day I check the bush and deliver 2 words: Go Fig.

What makes you so sure my Violette did not have breba fruits?
The bush did have an early crop back in early June.

If it had Breba on them they would have been ripe now.

I have a lot to learn about growing figs, that's for sure.

My Violette had an early crop that ripened the first week of June. This second and larger crop began to develop about the same time. Now they are swelling slightly and starting to turn red.

In comparison, my Brown Turkey and Celeste bushes bear once a year and ripen in late July/early August.

The Green Ischia I had developed fruit, but it never ripened.
