Wow, pea pods make great slug traps!

I just went outside now that the rain stopped momentarily, and noticed that the empty pea pods the kids have been chucking into the non-food beds were covered with slugs! I just picked the pods up and threw them out. A very easy way to remove slugs from the garden!

Hey, what a great discovery! Maybe not as much fun as the beer method, as there's always some beer left in the bottle after baiting the slugs for the thirsty gardener, but if pea pods work too, why not?lol

My dogs eat the pea pods so no slug traps for me. But , the magpies that I so faithfully feed all winter eat the slugs so no slugs either! :)And no drunk magpies!
