Itoh Peony in bloom

Took three long years, but it finally flowered this year. I also didn't realize that Itohs are rebloomers. I'll have flowers well into August.

three years would be fine with me as well

Now I see you are in Zone 3 Peonies for sure are able to withstand cold well but I did not know this far north even

I do love the Japanese tree peonies and I forget how
the Itoh is different.

I have half a dozen of them The Japanese tree peonies My favourite is a
huge white plain white Japanese tree peony I must move as it is getting crowded by some other plants Holding its own but kind of crowded.

Peonies are good for zone 2. They're in Banff.
