The aphids will suck all the juice out of the leaves which is already evident by the yellow leaves you have. They will eventually drop all the yellowed leaves. I would spray all the plants. What do you have planted next to the potatoes? Check them for aphids also.

I was looking at my corn today, realizing that some of them are mature enough that I need to spray them for the corn borer moth. What I did not expect to find though, was that inside the tassels, down deep, was totally full of black aphids. Guess I will be sure to spray inside there also when I spray the corn Monday am.

Ugh. I have beans next to the potatoes and they're fine so far. Corn is way over in another bed.

Spray 'em all, eh? I was afraid people would say that!

Check them. If you have one long row, maybe the aphids were selective and started at the one end. Are all the leaves on all the potatoes turning yellow or just a few at one end?

What are you spraying with? Isn't it just a matter of a few more steps and a few more squirts of whatever solution you are using? Shouldn't take that much longer...will it?

All the plants are turning yellow. It's not that many, and i'm sure that between dh and i, it won't take that long. Just a pain, that's all.

I was planning on using the same soap solution that i use for aphids on flowers. That would be okay, wouldn't it?
