They are just about done leaves are starting to change here and the air is crispier at night. Hoping for a nice Sept as I don't think we have had more than 5 days in a row without rain all summer. Not one dry weekend since the middle of May I hope we get one local camping weekend before Oct. It is a good thing we went to Penticton for 10 days.

So I went and had a look at the tree it looks like fall leaves to me but she swears they sprouted that colour. Could it be wind damaged little branches not getting enough nutrients?

I know nothing about Mayday trees but would like to know how you did HTML in here. I thought we couldn't do it anymore!

CLB it is doubful in your moderate climate that wind could have an effect. Consider looking at voles.

This tree has 3 sets of leaf growths like this 2 are on separate branches higher up than this set.
