For the past few years, to avoid killing plants in containers, in the summer, while I'm away, I have brought my figs inside in the ac so they don't need any water. I usually do this in July and September for about 3-4 days. Outside temperatures are usually in the 90's and inside in the ac it is only 70, so unless it gets colder than this it should only slow their growth a little

A drop of 10-15F from 100 won't affect anything to any appreciable extent. It might delay ripening a few hours. But I let mine hang for 5 days or so after going limp to concentrate the flavor and sweetness. Part of a day is nothing.
