Yes that was quite the storm. I don't think I have ever heard such loud thunder in my life. And the rain came down in buckets. Most of the lightening was sheet lightening so at least few if any strikes. My little Shih Tzu who is 4yrs has never been scared of storms. Last night for the first time ever she was on the bed just shaking. And :i heard on the radio at night that the Severe weather warning for our area had ended. And soon after all heel broke loose.

Beegood, I can relate! Shelties HATE thunderstorms! As if the thunder wasn't bad enough, all the dogs were barking in their kennels and poor little Cash was shaking in his paws! 2:30ish to 4:30ish and we lost power for a few minutes too. I love TSs but that thunder even shook me! No real damage to speak of in the garden tho. :)

Yes I expected all my flowers to be flattened but surprisingly they were not. Like you I enjoy TSs but this one was a bit over the top. Don't need one like that again for a while.

The pup did just fine. Slept thru the whole thing. Just poor Tessa was a wreck. Has never done that before. I will check out the gallery for you dog.
