I live in MD and am thinking of uprooting a forsythia bush and putting a fig tree in its place. I already have a Peters Honey and two brown turkey trees (one that has still to produce anything). Can anyone suggest another variety? The space is not huge, so preferably something that is either relatively compact or can be pruned. Flavor is important...I want my kids to be able to pluck and eat them and grow up loving figs!!
