Anyone grow J. Cartier/M. Boccella?

This spring I took the plunge into OGR's and planted my first Alba, KvD.

at least that's what I thought....

after it started to set buds for a repeat bloom I was doubtful as to it being KvD and posted over on the Antique forum and sure enough it has been identified as Jacques Cartier / Marchessa Boccella.

I am pretty ticked as it now appears I may have a 25.00 annual. Looks like JC/MB is only hardy to zone 5 where the Alba would probably have been good to zone 3.

Anyway, is anyone growing it??? can anyone here in the "far north" comment on how it comes through winter, if at all.

Cathy, I have the bush Jacques Cartier. It came through last winter fine.

How big is yours??

I will probably have to move this one, as thinking it was an Alba I put it at the back of the bed right in front of the fence. Now I am seeing 1 to 1.5 feet for JC/MB.

My JC is most probably about 1 1/2 ft tall as well.
