Looks like thyme, probably Thymus serpyllum - if you rub the leaves/flowers, there should be a quite distinctive fragrance, if it is.
Yes, Lysimachia vulgaris - I like them, bright and sunny, if kind of invasive.
The astilbes can be moved at any time - if you do a good transplant (cut the soil out a ways away from the plant so as to minimize root damage) and water well, they won't even know they've been moved.
Individual clematis flowers often show a great deal of variation - for example, I can go out and look at a jackmannii right now and see from 4 to 8 petals on the flowers. With respect to color, well, you probably know how catalogues/pictures can sometimes be inaccurate!
I don't get the 'Red Rocks' name either, except if perhaps it relates to the species, Penstemon mexicali, in some way...but nonetheless, it's a really fine, hardy penstemon.
Yes, unfortunately, Digitalis purpurea (I assume you have a white form) is usually biennial, so you may wnat to save seeds, or allow it to self-seed...and if you want perennials, grow Digitalis grandiflora and D. lutea (both, soft yellow).
The dragonhead (Dracocephalum sp.)is not one I'm familiar with (re. leaf shape) but there are both annuals and perennials in the family.

Although your Lychnis 'Hoarfrost' is not all white, its still very pretty, for sure IÂll trade some your seed for some L. coronaria ;)

What I do with my Delphinium grandiflorum Chinese Delphinium, is donÂt cut back at fall time, in a few years youÂll have them all over the place that youÂll be plucking excess seedlings out ;)

It looks like Dracocephalum moldavicum, if it is this, its considered an annual, but if you let it self-seed it will come back for you next year. Or to be on the safe side, save some seed, very easy to wintersow. Could have been me that gave you some seed for trade.

Sharon, i'm laughing at your comment about wood piles and cow skulls because last night, dh put a pair of deer racks in an unplanted part of one garden! LOL I have driftwood in spots - in fact i have a piece here in the house that i need to do something with. It has holes right through it, so it lends itself to having something growing through those holes, but i'm not sure what. Something small, it would have to be, i think, or tall and thin. Have to figure that one out!

I bought silene Jack Flash's seed, do you think is better for me to starting it indoor or it's O.K. to seedling outdoor?????

lezard either way would probally be fine as it seemed to grow farly fast.. I grow it in a pot & it bloomed most of July & Aug... Hope this helps you a bit.. kat3
