A few questions, why would you want a fig tree that does not produce alot of figs?
I have a brown turkey that has done the same. I cant figure it out either, my other two figs are great. The only thing I can think of is nemitodes or it just hasnt rooted in yet, I dug it up and put organic material by the roots and they were growing good, so I think I just stuned the tree. I would guess give it another year and if its still the same, take it down like a lame horse.
