I want to get another pear tree to go with the one I have which needs a pollinator... Can't remember exactly what I already have but it has done very well but of course no fruit because of needing a polinator.

What have you all grown that you've been pleased with? I don't want one that gets huge or has a large canopy spread. Also how far apart do you plant them for pollination. Fruit trees are new to me, they were around growing up but of course my horse was more important.
