Yay, Monarch Caterpillars on the Milkweed!

I was so happy to see the monarch caterpillars yesterday on my swamp milkweed plant! Last year I didn't see any so wondered if they would be back. I've planted butterfly weed in another bed so am hoping to attract even more next year. Perhaps I will plant some of the swamp milkweed seedlings where I've had my lilies decimated by the lily beetle but that's another depressing story.
