I have two fiddle leaf fig trees at my home and they are doing great, so i decided to get one for my husbands office.

when i purchased the tree it had two new leaves just starting to bud. One week later they look like this... shown in the picture. Now 3 weeks later still the same.
I've never seen anything like it. Just crinkled up leaves??

the tree is getting lots of light and the right amount of water.... i have no clue what the problem is?
