Saturday, September 13th, is designed for those that have been involved with growing fruit trees previously. We have speakers on various topics and our space is limited.
If you haven't attended the festival previously but would like attend on Saturday please email me at fuhrwe@telus.net .
Sunday's (September 14th) program is more informal with the fruit tasting of the various fruit exhibits, and Fruit Growers sharing cultural experiences and ideas with the public.
There will be juicing demonstrations as well off and on during the day.
The festival shall operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
POTLUCK LUNCH on Saturday
Please remember that as usual we shall partake of a potluck lunch at noon just before the speakers. Plates and cups shall be provided.
Please contribute a dish like a salad, dessert, or a vegetable or meat dish and something to drink.
Thank you very much again to a number of our members working behind the scenes to make this event a success each year.
We also wish to thank those who have participated faithfully over the years to make the event the great success that it has become!
We wish as well, to express our deep gratitude to The Devonian Botanic Garden for their help and support of our group.
I am really looking forward to communing with everyone again!

Looked at the video. Those fruits are all grown HERE!!?? Had no idea that this was possible. Now I know for sure I'll be there.

It won't be as many plums this year, most flower buds got killed in winter, one night of minus around 45 Celsius.
