My Botanus order is on the way too - maybe in the mail today. Fingers crossed!

I received my Parkland Perennial's order last week. I got an email on the 18th from Botanus saying my order was on the way and then it arrived very early morning on the 20th. The only thing missing from the Botanus order was the Amaryllis, but I read somewhere, on their site that they would be shipped in Oct.

I was pleased with the look of both of these orders.....now lets hope that they bloom next year to what they were supposed to be.

Grumble, grumble. My order was in Winnipeg early this morning. They could have gotten it here today, couldn't they? >:(

Yup, Parkland Perennials is superb for their quality and size of plants and bulbs! Check out their daylilies next year Shelley, you'll be surprise how big those are too.

I too received my Parkland, as well as my Botanus this week, got all those planted today. Still waiting for my ValleyK Lily order and those free Oriental Lilies from Breck's and thatÂs all she wrote for this year ;)

I am planning on ordering daylilies from Parkland next year Sharon. How many???? I'll see what kinds that they are offering in to Spring.
Yesterday DH picked up my Botanus order. I didn't get it in the ground because I worked from 9 am to 10 pm. It was a long day. And today they called me back in. (So much for my weekend.) So I still didn't get those bulbs into the ground. Hopefully tomorrow morning is nice because I have to work tomorrow afternoon again. A new work week begins.
Valley k sent me an e-mail stating that the order was shipped on Thursday, so that one should be here by the beginning of the week.
Still waiting on Brecks, Lily Nook, and SW Gardens. And I'm still deciding if I should order from Veseys. I recently recieved a catalouge with a coupon in it that gives me $25 dollars off if I spend $50. I don't know if it's getting too late to order Tulips or not. What do you think?

I like to get everything in including fall bulbs before October 1st. I guess if you ask Veseys that you will place an order only if they send them asap because of your zone. I'm sure they would comply.

One thing about Parklands is yes they do have huge roots and bulbs, but their DL's can be a little pricey compared to other companies I've ordered from.

Well I could always order Amarylliis and Iris's. And treat the iris as houseplants.Hmmm. Something to think about today.
Years ago I recieved an order of lilies from Brecks in early November. I planted these bulbs in frozen ground. 1 of 12 grew the next spring. I haven't placed an order with them since until this fall. I did explain the problem to them and they promised to ship in Sept with replacement bulbs for the ones purchased years ago. Now that is good customer service.
