Janice, I know that ribbon grass is invasive. I've just finished moving a clump into a dry shady spot. According to a discussion on the perennial forum it might behave in such a location. Time will tell, but I'm thinking I might live to regret putting it there. I probably should have left it in its pot.

The blue lyme grass is also invasive, but nice if contained (a friend has some in a raised planter) - sort of coarse and crab-grassy, but the blue color is very attractive.
