As some of you know that Cedar Hollow Rose Farm will not be doing mail order next year, so I wrote Lynn a letter to express my sadness, this is the reply back.....

Hi Sharon

I heard you sent an email so I just wanted to let you know what is going on at Cedar Hollow since you have been such a great customer.

We have decided to close the business. My business partners and I have decided that we are all just too old to keep up with the work required. Go big or go home seems to be the way it is and we are not interested in going big.

We were just going to sell locally, however, there are not enough local people interested in hardy roses to make it feasible. Everyone here wants big grafted Hybrid Teas and seem quite happy to replace them every year and continue complaining about how weak they are. So we all decided to move on with new projects.

Thanks again for all your support. I have seen some of your garden pictures on the internet and they are all very beautiful.
