My Black Mission fig is all mixed up this year. The leaves started dropping during the main harvest last month. And now new leaves are appearing! Usually there's a dormant period of a couple of months at the end of the year. Is there anything I can do? Will the poor tree have enough energy to put out a second round of new leaves at the usual time? We're having another heat wave (about 100 degrees) right now so that isn't helping.
