You may have a poor potting mix. What your fig is showing IMO is an accute shortage of potassium (K). Make sure the good nutrients are all there specially now during this trasnsition.
I get most of the nitrogen from either rabbit manure,...worm castings.. fish meal, etc.. the P & K plus micro nutrients (do not forget the iron) check with your farm stores technician and he will provide good advice on the locally available products.
During the growing I may use (liquid) fertilizers like PK 13/14 or - 5-8-.10 and I am happy.

Thank you for your comments. I do feed it well so I took a leaf to the nursery where I bought it and they told me that they don't survive in pots and I should plant it in the garden. I told them I live near the ocean. I really don't want to take out if the pot because I am in rented accommodation and if I move I want to take it with me. I will water it less I think and keep an eye on it. Also the tap water here is full of chemicals so I will leave the tap water to settle for a week or so before watering my plants.

If In pot ,place it in total shade to recover.
The sun is too hot and too strong for a new plant in a new location,and the pot is getting hot out of the ground.
That is your problem!

nothing to do with poor soil and nothing to do with a hot climate, it's simply sitting in too much water water. And, my friend fix it up it has a terrible shape, straighten it up bro. check your container for suficient drainage= keep drilling.
