Usually leaves browning at the end is a sign of salt buildup in the potting mix. Best thing to do, is to make sure when watering in the water comes out of the bottom of the pot and drains freely.

Your main crop fig fruit will usually occur on new growth. Sometimes young plants can take their sweet time getting to fruiting size. Repotting can cause plants to take a pause in their growth and fruiting cycle as they establish in the new environment.. Just focus on keeping the plant well fed and watered for the next couple years and you'll start seeing fruit.

Make sure you water that it is enough that it flows out of the bottom of the pot in order to flush the salts out of the soil. The stone chips shouldn't be an issue with that.
