Kind of late for peaches, though, isn't it? Maybe they should have cut one up to show the flesh. That would have made it easier to ID.

Actually, I wanted to say apricot....but it could be one or the other. Are they ready to eat?
What zone is it grown in? ....It looks like grown indoor? Zone 3 or 4 you still end up having late harvest on both species.

Oh, maybe apricot - the size looks about right. The zone would be 5 or 6, Oakville, Ontario. My friend said it was in her niece's yard, so it's outdoors. I'll have to email and ask her to find out how ripe these things are and what they look like on the inside. And maybe she should find out how tall the bush/tree is, too.
