Great harvest Konrad, my strawberries and raspberries are still producing but the strawberries are losing flavor from repeat frosts, raspberries are against the building so not affected as much. All the leaves on the grapes have froze, there was only a few clusters of grapes on all new growth.

Nice continuing harvest, Konrad! Have you had frost yet?

Is the third photo wild cherries?

    ^Looks like chokecherries to me.

You sure have a great, long season, production in your garden, konrad. I only have some beets, carrots and kale to dig up, all else is done. I remember my mother growing goji berries in her garden over 30 years ago...she dried them and used them for a soup.

You've got really nice-looking soil there, Konrad.

You are fortunate to have the extra bit of warm weather. We had two record breaking days and then freezing cloud cover for over a week. I hope the whole winter isn't like that. Some sunshine would be nice. As always your photos are first rate!

    Thank you all!
    >>Nice continuing harvest, Konrad! Have you had frost yet?
Is the third photo wild cherries? Hard frost came already a month ago, around minus 5C.,..Goji
take it pretty well but not potatoes.
Yes,..chokecherries, after several frost they still hang on and astringency is drastically reduced, great winter food for waxwings.

    >>You've got really nice-looking soil there, Konrad.Yes, best veggie garden soil in this low spot of property,..it's got it's drawback, ...late start, cool and early frost,..only good for cool crop veggies.

    >>goji berries in her garden over 30 years ago...she dried them and used them for a soup. Yes, this is the best way to use them, ..mother in law, [91] has them for tea every day and eats the berries afterward.
Goji's are supposed to be good for your kidney's.

Lovely fall weekend here with sunshine, yesterday and today around 18C.
Many years ago our car license plate was changed from Sunny Alberta to Wildrose Alberta,..wanting to change again this year but got scrapped by the new government.

They should have left the old name alone!

I love your photos Konrad and your potatoes are soooo productive and scab free!

    Thank you Terry,
wish I knew which seeds I bought in spring,..best producer and
scab free, some others had scab,..I'll save some for next years seed.

Great potatoes! How do you hill them? Elbow grease?

    You got that right!

Very nice! All I have left in the ground are some carrots and parsnips.

What do you do with the gogi berries? (I have a couple bushes, not yet producing, so wondering what to do with them when they produce fruit)?

We put these in chicken soups. If you have lots, then dry them and use later.
About 15 years ago one plant we had died out after 5 years or so.
My plants are still small, got from friends last year and this year got a couple from Costco when on sale, they produced also.

Not sure why yours didn't put on any berries, are the leaves looking the same? There are varieties which don't produce fruits, a little thorny..using leaves only. We had them but also died out and I'm glad it did because we hardly used them.
