In our neck of the woods Cecil, it is usually the lack of water. I am very sandy here, very acidic. A soil sample specific for growing fig trees would be interesting. I think I will do the same. I have taken soil sample every two years in the pass, it was required but never just for fig or fruit trees. Good idea Cecil.

I had been getting soil samples for our little hayfield but none for where I have the fig plants planted.

I didn't even know SFA did soil analysis!
