Today I picked the first ripe fig from a cutting that was planted last March. The cutting was presumably a Tiger Fig. The fig I picked was large, brownish purple and the interior was not the anticipated strawberry red color. It tasted ok but not special. None of the other figs on the bush are striped either. Did I get the wrong cutting?
