container soil

I searched this form and heres whats going on for my soil mix that Im going to make this fall/winter to put my fig trees in. I got the Napa floor dry, that stuff is good and cheap, I got the pine nugets, again, cheap. I found two places that carry crushed granit, the cheapest is a dollar a pound, which I tought was kind of pricy, so what would be a good subsitute, perilite? I know I can get a huge bundle of that for about 20 bucks, again, cheap.

So in short, one part floor dry, one part pine nuggets, one part perilite. Does that sound good? The way we get summer rain I need something that will be fast draining.
