Dannys Delite - again

On a different post, Sherry mentioned that she had three DD cuttings rooting. Wonderful success. But, I have some comments to make concerning DD, and they aren't good. First, I made a stupid mistake and followed some advice given on the forum, and clipped off all the brebas from my DD. The main crop figs were a beautiful yellow color, and not a single one of the roughly two dozen fruit turned out to be edible. They were absolutely horrible. Could it be that the breba crop is the good crop for DD. Would love to hear from you other folk who have this fig.

I might add that all nine or so of my other fig varieties gave me bumper crops this year, including the Quantico and the Marseilles, both of which gave me both a good breba and a good main crop.

Anyway, my DD gets one more year, then it's to the trash heap. Next year I will save the breba crop, and hope for the best. I know that Jon has said his DD was tasty, would like to know if it was main crop or breba.....
