Yes, we all came out of this OK, although I thought we were going to be without electricity. The winds devastated this area, and parts of NYC look like a train wreck. Long Island coastlines caught hell, and whole neighborhoods burned to the ground. Some poor souls lost everything.

My house came through without a scratch, and we dodged a very big bullet...this time. Prayers from friends helped, I'm sure.

Whew!

Sitting down here in Florida watching the north getting creamed. My thought was, "All those people in the northern states with fig trees will be getting hit or worse. Well, glad you are okay. I know that many Italian neighborhoods have these outdoor old fig trees. Wonder how many are shredded.

Did you get the trees inside in time?
