Okay, the post title is a little bit of an exagerration...

However, I was in my garden yesterday and found this one Angelica leaf with a patch of olive green and streaks of mustard yellow. Perhaps you can also see at the edge of the olive patch the green also seems unusually dark- best seen at the lower right edge of the patch, but there are also a few dark flecks along the olive leaf edge.

No, the foliage isn't perfect, as you can see there is a small blemish here and a small blemish there, a few crispy tips to the serration. But other than this odd variegated patch, the photo is characteristic of the plant- overall, pretty good. I'm inclined to believe it isn't a disease, but if you believe otherwise, I would like to hear what disease you think it is.

That being said, one variegated leaf does not really a variegated plant make- which is really sad, because I think a whole plant that looked like this would be KILLER!

Too bad I don't know how to do tissue culture from a leaf, which I suspect would offer best chance of an all variegated plant.

Oh Well, these discoveries are fun anyway.
