If your leaves are like a Schefflera (Umbrella Plant), unlike that of Cyperus, then you may, indeed, have a Climbing Anthurium (aka Finger Leaf Plant).

The botanical name is Anthurium aemulum (aka Heterophyllum). There is a pic of the palmate leaves at Glasshouseworks (linked below). They supposedly have mini-green spathes. I'm guessing you mean it had a flower like a Spathiphyllum (Peace Lily), though I haven't heard it called a Tulip Plant before.

Thanks rosemarie for your reply. It looks like the anturiium aemulum might be the correct answer. When I figure out how to post pix w/ my spanking new digital camera I will do it to show you. The leaves in the "pic of the leaf" look pretty much the same however mine look a little bit finer. Maybe it's just because I have a very young plant 6" in 3" pot. Will post later.
