I don't know exactly how to divide up this plant. I've had it now for 8 years and have just let it row as it is. After doing some research, I saw that I can take trowel or knife and cut the sections apart.

I love Bertha and have been afraid to do anything that might cause it to die. Can you please give me some guidance on what I need to do. Do I just cut the sections apart then repot? Do I need to do anything special to them once I have divided up the plant?
