Mmmmm Figs!
I'm from outside Philadelphia. In 2002, on our honeymoon hiking in Tuscany, We ate figs off a tree as we walked by an abandoned shell of an ancient house in the middle of nowhere. Squisito!
Much to my surprise, our new home in Georgia has a fig tree that bears delicious little figs. What a treat!
We're adding more fruits and nuts to the property along with other great edible landscape plants and I've been on the prowl for more types of figs. I'm a nurseryman and propagator, so I've been looking at cuttings as well as small rooted plants. I was hoping to find an exchange here as is often found in other forums. Since there isn't one, I'll just ask:
Is anyone willing to trade cuttings or small plants of interesting figs for plants I've grown. They are all vines or climbers. I have hundreds of different ones as it is a specialty of our place. I shouldn't give the name or link as it will be seen as advertising and this is an offer to trade only. One that may interest fig growers might be Actinidia Issai, but I have hundreds of flowering vines, too. Depending on what you have, I will make very favorable terms.
