I have both Violet De Bordeaux and Negronne cuttings.
What would you have to trade?

Are not Violet De Bordeaux and Negronne the same?
I reading many times that both are the same.

The two that I have are surely different in fruit and growth habit. I do not think that they are the same variety.
Also Magnolia and Brunswick are supposed by some folks to be the same fig tree, but I have both and they are surely not alike. Brunswick has larger and fewer figs and a deeply lobed 'okra' type leaf.
Also the Violet De Bordeaux is a smaller purplish/brown, and earlier fig than Negronne, which produces very black and fewer figs.

Then again, it must be said that Nurseries are not always too honest or capable of Identifying figs and that some varieties get labelled for no other reason than that is the tags left on the counter, and some clerk making minimum wages is not going to lose sleep trying to find the correct tag. Especially at those mercernary 'big box' stores.
