Complement for Mukdenia 'Crimson Fans'?

Can anyone suggest some Zone 5 hardy perrenials whose foliage complements Mukdenia 'Crimson Fans'? At the moment, I was thinking to order some Festuca glauca 'Bolder Blue' as a blue complement to the red of the Mukdenia, but I'm itnerested in others thoughts.
