My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Have grown this by my driveway in the driest part of my yard for at least 7 years. The leaves are gorgeous with Tulips & Daffodils. Look like giant fuzzy Burr Oak leaves. However soft they look, they aren't as pleasant to touch, being kind of sticky. Blooms are pretty for maybe a week, but the seed heads aren't. Would recommend cutting when through flowering. It has reseeded some, and I have collected seed to give away. The foliage gets tired in the hot summer, so having some taller plants over them would hide the tatters. There are two plants that have lasted the entire time, so more than biennial. Seed from Thompson & Morgan were easy.
I have never been able to keep one going long. I believe part of my problem was lack of good drainage. I have never seen the flowers, but just liked the big fuzzy foliage. Sharon
