Strobilanthes in trouble
My Persian Shield has been growing in the same spot for about a year now. It is hot and dry in the summer and warm to cool and super rainy in the winter. Until recently it was looking great. 2 days ago I noticed that about 1/2 of it was all wilty (this was one day after we got hit hard with the remnants of hurricane Rita-LOTS of rain). Today the whole thing is wilty. I thought maybe one of the branches broke in the heavy rain, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Does anyone know if this might be some kind of bacterial wilt? How would I know, and can it be fixed? Thanks to all who might have any info!
