My sister had to get rid of her house plants so she gave me

a Schefflera to keep until she has a place for it.

My problem is that although during the summer it thrived

outdoors I don't know what to do with it this winter.

I have two choices. I can plant it outdoors and hope for the best or leave it in the pot in an unheated outbuilding.
