Sounds wonderful. I was thrilled with my first winter harvest this last week. It was parsnips. We had a thaw for a couple of days recently, so I was able dig some up in a half-thawed clump of dirt. I had them planted in a raised bed under one layer of protection. Still have brussel sprouts, cilantro, cabbage and carrots as well, although they aren't big enough to harvest yet. I think I got them in a little late. Congrats dethride, isn't it a great feeling to have succulent, sweet fresh veggies in winter in your own backyard!
