Luvlife, looks like you missed the spring planting dates for your area but the good news is the primed for a fall planing.. See link below. (Some of the folks in your part of the country may want to chime in and add their personal experiences on what & when to plant..)

You know, you might still be able to get a couple of well started tomatoes at a local nursery. Might help you make up for lost time, if you choose short season tomatoes. I'd call around if I were you and ask what you can get in terms of seedlings, etc...

I'm doing several things, 3 different squashes, tomatoes, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, radishes, carrots, and more. I am willing to take a few measures to cover my crops to help me extend the season once frost is suspected. I've heard of growing all the way through Nov. and Dec if you are careful.
