A standard sized door wouldn't work for me so we framed our doors with 2 x 4s and covered them with poly. I put handles on the center where you'd expect it and one on the bottom so that I can pull both at the same time.

If you don't need a door at both ends a vent on the back end will help with air flow when you needs the sides down but just a door open isn't enough.

My hoop house is only about 3' tall. I need an easier way to access the garden.

Extinct the cover about 36 inches, let the middle fall to ground, cut the cover right of center from bottom to about 28 inches up. When closing the "door" fold the smaller side over the opening first, the larger/wider side fold over the smaller side then lay 1/8 plywood up over flaps & put a heavy board or log against the plywood.

Hi, I have seen adhesive zippers for sale. Maybe stick one of those on one end, cut as needed and instant opening !! They are quite long 4 - 5' if I remember right. Possibly Charley's Greenhouse supply had them ?
