Root Rot -- or Not (?)

Yesterday, I planted my little Star Jasmine in a hanging basket. Tomorrow, the rains come! (For about 3-4 days in SD area) I fear root rot.

Would you bring the jasmine into the house or let it benefit from rainfall??
